Editing the Default Profile |
You can modify a user's current default profile to change the access the user has to information or to perform tasks for the company codes in the plan.
To
edit a user's default profile
On the Home page, if required, select a plan from the Plan Number drop-down list. Then click the User List link.
Select the user you want to edit from the list, and then click Update User.
On the Update User Information page, click Defaults.
The Edit Default Profile page appears showing the system access settings in the current profile for each available function.
Select the changes you want, and then click Save.
Click OK to acknowledge the confirmation.

If you have entered any modifications to the current settings and want to restore the last saved profile, click Reset. To discard any changes you have made, click Cancel. |
When you change the system access for a particular function in the default profile, this change will be applied to all company codes in the plan that do not have an override for that function. If you applied an override, the override will still be valid. Only those functions that use the default profile setting will be changed.
For example, the current plan has four company codes—AAA, BBB, CCC, and DDD. Company Codes AAA, BBB, and CCC use the default profile access setting (Hide) for the Participant Maintenance function. Company Code DDD has an override on this function to allow the user to update this information.
